WPH and CETCO Give back to community
CETCO staff arrived from across the world, to give something back to one Wirral Partnership Home’s community.
CETCO, an Environmental and Construction Technology Company, whose European Headquarters is in Birkenhead, contacted WPH with a view of working together to give something back to the local area. So, on 11th November, CETCO staff from America, China, India and European countries joined WPH staff and descended on Demesne Street in Seacombe to carry out a huge litter-picking exercise.
CEEQUAL Winning Project uses VOLTEX
As part of a CEEQUAL assessment earlier this year, King’s Cross Package 4, a £28 million project which involved the design, construction, testing and commissioning of a 10 metre deep basement to house a plant room and service yard to accommodate services such as waste disposal and deliveries, scored above 75% and subsequently received a rating of Excellent. The Civil Engineering Environmental Quality and Assessment Scheme (CEEQUAL) is an awards scheme which rewards exemplary environmental quality on civil engineering projects. 8,000m2 of Voltex was specified on this project.
